Information For Librarians

We encourage research librarians to include the Journal of L Journal of Language Acquisition and Teacher Education (LATE) among the electronic journal holdings and resource listings of their library. As an open access journal, LATE provides unrestricted, free access to all of its published content under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. By making LATE visible and easily accessible through institutional libraries, librarians play a vital role in promoting equitable access to high-quality research on language teaching and learning.

We also invite librarians to assist in indexing the publications of LATE in institutional repositories, library databases, and discovery services. Doing so helps LATE reach a broader global audience, enhances its visibility and reputation, and ensures that valuable research contributions from authors around the world are more widely discovered and cited.

LATE uses an open-source publishing platform (Open Journal Systems), which libraries can also host to support faculty members who wish to edit or manage academic journals within their institutions.

By supporting and promoting LATE, librarians contribute to the advancement of open scholarship and the global dissemination of research in language acquisition and teacher training.
