Aims and Scope

The Journal of Leadership and Quality in Education (LEQA), published by Researcher Publishers, is is a peer-reviewed international journal that advances scholarly understanding of how leadership, quality frameworks, and governance mechanisms are enacted to enhance educational effectiveness and system performance. The Journal publishes high-quality theoretical, empirical, conceptual, and practice-informed research that examines the dynamic interplay between leadership and educational quality across K–12 and higher education contexts. LEQA prioritizes work that integrates strong theoretical grounding with practice-informed inquiry to illuminate how leadership drives educational quality, fosters institutional improvement, and generates system-level impact, while maintaining rigorous methodological standards. LEQA positions leadership as a strategic driver of educational quality, organizational effectiveness, and sustainable change within diverse educational systems worldwide.

LEQA welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that address leadership and educational quality at the classroom, institutional, and system levels. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

LEQA accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Empirical Research Articles (around 7,500 words, including references and appendices): Reports of original studies, using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches, that contribute new knowledge or pedagogical insights.
  • Critical Review Articles (around 6,000 words, excluding references and appendices): Systematic, bibliometric, or conceptual reviews that synthesize and critically evaluate existing research to identify trends, challenges, and future directions in language education.
