Author Guidelines

It is the great honor of TILA to receive submissions from authors around the world. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected. For further information, please have a look at the full description of the review process.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Empirical Research Articles

Empirical research articles report original studies that make a substantial contribution to understanding issues in technology and learning development. Such articles may employ qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches and should be grounded in clear theoretical frameworks and rigorous research design. Submissions should present well-structured analyses, discuss findings in relation to existing literature, and highlight implications for technology innovation, learning quality, or policy. The research should offer new insights that advance knowledge and practice in the field of technology innovation and learning enhancement.

Critical Review Articles

Critical review articles provide a comprehensive and analytical overview of empirical research within a specific area of technology innovation for learning quality. Reviews should be both broad and focused, summarizing key studies that have shaped the field while identifying trends, gaps, and future directions. These articles are expected to critically evaluate the methodological and theoretical contributions of existing research and to demonstrate the significance and impact of these studies on technology use, learning quality, and education policy.
