Aims and Scope

The Journal of Language Teaching and Learning Today (LTLT), published by Researcher Publishers, is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal. LTLT is dedicated to advancing knowledge and research in the field of language education. LTLT aims to promote scholarly discussions that address current challenges, evolving pedagogies, and future directions in language education. It encourages contributions that investigate language curriculum design, instructional methods, teacher development, classroom assessment, technology integration, the social and cultural dimensions of language learning, and alike. Studies that adopt interdisciplinary or cross-contextual perspectives are particularly welcome. LTLT accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Empirical Research Articles (around 7,500 words, including references and appendices): Reports of original studies, using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches, that contribute new knowledge or pedagogical insights.
  • Critical Review Articles (around 6,000 words, excluding references and appendices): Systematic, bibliometric, or conceptual reviews that synthesize and critically evaluate existing research to identify trends, challenges, and future directions in language education.
